This policy explains what information Northside Baptist Church (“we”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through:

• the prayer request form: your name if you give it, how to reach you, and your request
• the newsletter sign-up: your email address
• the contact form and any testimony you choose to share

Like most websites, our web host also keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to keep the site secure and running. We may count page visits with a simple tool on our own server. Some pages load fonts or maps from Google, which may receive your IP address. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

• to answer you and provide the service you asked for
• to schedule, confirm or follow up on an appointment or request
• to send emails you signed up for, which you can stop at any time
• to keep the website secure and meet our legal obligations

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and email (such as our web host), with others when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.

Prayer requests. We share prayer requests with our pastor and the people who pray for them. If you ask us to keep a request private, we will. We will not publish a testimony or prayer request on the website without your permission.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it, or as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. To do that, call (434) 845-1160, or write to us at 144 4th St, Madison Heights, VA 24572. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website can promise perfect security, so please do not send bank account or Social Security numbers through a website form.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
